Nikki and Zack had their wedding planned and ready to go but three weeks before the big day, a huge curve ball was thrown at them. Due to an oversight and change of managers, their original venue got double booked and they lost their spot. Like what? How does that even happen? But they took that curve ball and hit a home run because they landed this  brand new venue instead, Home Farm Barn located in Indiana, Pa. The ceremony was held indoors with gorgeous windows and light coming in. NIkki even said she didn't really need to decorate much because the place itself was beautiful! The owners did an amazing job restoring this barn and making it into a whole wedding venue complete with a bridal suite, downstairs area and a large upstairs reception room.

After saying their vows we took advantage of the unexpected sunshine that day and did portraits around the property. There was so much we could do and since Nikki and Zack are into photography themselves, they came up with some adorable ideas! After we finished the pictures, Nikki surprised Zack with an awesome grooms cake and the celebration began. Their family came from as far as California and I absolutely enjoyed watching all the little cousins get together and run around. Nikki brought balloons for them to play with and it was the biggest hit ever! But my favorite part of the night was probably the adults playing musical chairs haha! There's nothing like watching grown ups steal chairs off of each other that gives you a good laugh!

So even with the craziness of huge last minute wedding changes, these two stayed cool and calm and just enjoyed the day together. Congrats Nikki and Zack! I've loved getting to know you two and best wishes!
