I spent the evening taking engagement pictures with this fun-loving couple, Nicole and Tyler! This is my first time doing an engagement and when I contacted Nicole offering to take some pictures, it was Tyler that really wanted them done. In fact, 10 minutes into the session he said to Nicole they should do this more often. So cute haha! These two had so much fun with it and their laughter was contagious.
Nicole is one of my sister's best friends and I was informed by Leah that Tyler and Nicole actually met at my house years ago while she was house-sitting for us. So basically I made this beautiful match and didn't even know it haha! Anyways, I asked them about doing an engagement session to build my portfolio, and that's when I found they were engaged at Oglebay's Christmas Light Show last year. They are now planning a winter wedding so this whole engagement session at a Christmas tree farm couldn't me more perfect for them!
Seriously, they were so much fun to work with! Nicole and Tyler never stopped smiling and laughing with each other and you could tell they really enjoy each other's company. They both have a great laid back attitude and I can see why they make such a great couple. They were also so cool and patient with me while I practiced with my settings and worked on these "ring shots." Speaking of ring shots, her ring is gorgeous! I'm a little partial to princess cuts since I have the same setting, but the diamonds that lined her band were so sparkly and pretty!
I couldn't have asked for a better couple to practice with and I'm so happy they agreed to this! If a photo session is this much fun, I can't imagine what a blast your wedding will be. Thank you Nicole and Tyler!! I hope you enjoy them and happy Wedding Planning! :)
