A year I won't forget!

Well 2015 is coming to an end so it's time to reflect on how the year went. 2015 will always be known as the year I took a leap and pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Scary stuff to do haha! I've always enjoyed taking pictures, but to turn it into a business? That's something I never thought I'd do. It was always just a hobby of mine and last New Year's, I decided it would be a goal to save for my first full-frame camera. I wanted to learn more and take my photography to the next level, but still never thought of creating a business with it. It wasn't until these beautiful pics of Sophia did the thought enter my mind.

Since Sophia's pictures are what lit the spark to this business, it's only fitting that I ended my year with she and her brother Braden. My last session of 2015!! Cortney's goal was to get some lifestyle portraits of Bradon and then a few with all of them. The farm couldn't have been a better place! So much to see and so many places to run and hide! There they are looking for those ever elusive barn cats haha!

Cortney had a vision for B's pics this time around and I think we hit the nail on the head with these. Anyone that knows him in real life, knows he is an awesome kid that loves the typical boy stuff. He LOVES sports and I could talk to him about football all day. He is also sooo sweet with his sister. I just adore watching these two together.

hehe I just love this bottom pic. He's so full of energy and spunk. He loves music so maybe future rockstar?

So as 2015 wraps up, I want to thank everyone that helped me get my business off the ground. My favorite coworkers ever (you know who you are ;) who provided endless support and encouragement. My bff who convinced me I could do this and gave up her insanely busy schedule to help me with the website and logo. Cortney and Kristy for always loving my pictures and being awesome friends letting me photograph their family. My husband for helping pursue this...and all my clients (current and future!) I have big plans for 2016 and I can not wait to get it all started!!
