Lucy + Alex

In Verona, Pa you will find a charming little gem known as the Springwood Conference Center. This stone mansion is a beautiful site for any bride still trying to find that Pittsburgh wedding venue. Inside you will find large rooms including a massive bridal suite equipped with it's own balcony while the downstairs has original woodworking to give it that perfect charm. The one thing I kept hearing over again during the evening was how this place is the best kept secret in the area. Wedding guests who were local residents didn't even know of it's existence until Lucy and Alex's wedding. So if you're on the hunt for a perfect location, this is a must to add to your list.

Lucy and Alex had the sweetest ceremony on the outside stone patio with their closest family and friends in attendance. Their friends were the officiants and their own vows were written. They shared memories and laughs and I couldn't help but notice the constant smile they both wore while looking at each other. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside under the twinkle lights while we took off for some portraits. Located on the grounds were a gazebo, bridge, garden and an amazing overlook with a pretty view of the Pittsburgh hills. The possibilities were endless for their portraits and I can't wait for Lucy and Alex to see all of them.

As I always say, my favorite part of the day is the reception. I love good music and dancing and the bride and groom chose their close friend from college, Justin Coulter of Soundwave Entertainment as their Dj. Who also happens to be a highly sought after Dj in the Pittsburgh and Florida areas. He did his thing well and even let the bride jump in on a try at mixing. Everyone was on that dance floor having a good time and I caught some great images that I know they'll love!

Lucy and Alex were so awesome to work with and I really enjoyed spending the day getting to know them and capturing the best moments in their lives. I get so sad after it's all over but they have great things ahead of them and I wish them the best of luck! Congrats!
