Taylor + Colton

I want to start off by saying I absolutely adore Taylor and Colton. I first met them a little over a year ago at their engagement session and they were the sweetest couple to get to know. I have no doubt they chose their career paths perfectly, Colton a state trooper and Taylor a speech pathologist. I can see them both making a big difference in other peoples lives in the most positive way.

During the engagement session, a thunderstorm in the distance kept teasing us and I had to move them around to dodge it. A little rain never hurt anyone and the clouds made for some awesome engagement pictures. Fast forward a year later, and wouldn't you know it? The same thing happened again on their wedding day. The weather kept teasing us all day, did it stop? did it start? Is it done now? This did not stop them from having the most amazing day and they both were so laid back about it. I think of it as a sign that those two can weather any storm together with laughter and love.

The ceremony was moved inside at Fairman Family Farms and let me tell you, this venue has one of the best indoor ceremony options around. With it's twinkle lights and rustic look, it makes the indoor ceremony option as pretty as their outdoor ceremony location. The owners, Sandy and Terry also did an awesome job of moving chairs all around and finding whatever umbrellas they could for the bridal party. They worked hard to make sure Taylor and Colton's wedding day still went as smoothly as possible. Taylor also looked stunning in her gown from Rustic Rose Bridal. It had amazing lace detail down the back and the whole style fit her personality so well.

And the reception was a blast! Dj Mike Miller played the jams while everyone got out and danced. Taylor had some sweet moves and I loved culling through all of their dance pictures. I know it will be something they enjoy looking back on! They also had Queston Van Horne as a videographer and he did an amazing job of capturing those moments as well. I have an obsession with high light videos and loved how he put theirs together so if you get a chance, hop on over to his fb page and check it out!

Huge congratulations to Taylor and Colton, the wedding journey is over but now begins the rest of your life! I know you'll do great things together and thank you so much for letting me a part of your day!
