Jessica is from Western Pa and Drew from California. They met at a concert 5 years ago and love happened!
Their summer wedding was a hot one, but it was also a beautiful one. Jessica had a lot of help from her mom and family on all the details and it looked like a dream summer country wedding. Indiana floral and flower boutique put together the most amazing floral bouquets and the coral colors they chose were so pretty!
The ceremony was held outside at Fairman's Family Barn and I was happy the weather, although hot, stayed clear. They chose this site specifically for the waterfall feature and were able to continue with plans to say their vows in front of it. Which by the way, they wrote themselves and the words were so meaningful. I loved everything about them. Drew is a navy man and they spoke about their future military life together, which can make for extra hurdles in life but also so much more rewarding. Together they’ll make this military journey with a strong love and friendship.
Drew’s mom gave a toast and explained the significance of the wine they brought with them all the way from California. It was made from their own land with the last of her father’s grapes. It was such a sweet way to honor him! The reception was full of dancing but guests could also enjoy some fun summer games including corn hole. I got to witness Jessica’s skills first hand at that game 😉 after they had the chance to mingle with their guests, I took them back out for some twilight evening photos. A hot summer day turned into a cool summer evening with a pretty pink sky!
I’ve gotten to know Jessica’s family well over the last year, between multiple family weddings and engagements, I’m a little sad it’s all over! Thank you so much for welcoming me into your family for your biggest life events and I wish you and Drew all the best!! ❤️❤️❤️
